I have been a regular at the Hard Bean since I discovered it back in August of 08.. I am from the SanDiago area, and have had a hard time finding a good cup of coffee out here. Until now that is.... Even a cup of their house blend is great straight black.. If your into art, they have local artist on display, there is a local jewler in the back now, and everything in between.. Yes, I do love "The Bean" and wish everyone could come and enjoy the friendly, community spirit that makes "The Bean" a very unique wonderfull place for everyone of every age..... The owner Barry and his daughter Jess are always around to brighten your day or night with a warm smile and hug/handshake..... So everyone, get out there and enjoy the BEST DARN COFFEE IN THE BEST DARN COFFEE SHOP AROUND.....

Hi Grub Hound! Thanks for your reviews on restaurants! Like you, I often travel a lot and like to write reviews on places I have eaten. That’s how I came across your site. I don’t have my own blog but I usually put my comments on www.foodcritics.com. It’s quite an organized list of restaurants all over the country. But it would help us all of there were more reviews on the restaurants listed. Maybe you’d like to give it a try! It would be helpful for all of us who have to travel! It’s a great place to meet other food critics too!
